Project Name: Shendong Bulianta Coal Mine 2#

Project Location: Erdos City, Inner Mongolia

Project Overview: The total length of the tunnel is about 2745m, and the inclined shaft is 5.43° (-9.5%) downhill, with a maximum buried depth of 240m. The equipment mainly passes through the stratum in the middle and coarse sand layers, in which the quartz content is 60~75%, and it passes through two main coal seams with a thickness of 12m. The tunnel is designed with a 50m flat slope every 1000m, and the vertical curve radius is 1250m.

Difficulties in engineering: deep burial and long-term requirements for construction, such as ventilation, drainage, material transportation, etc.; continuous downhill has great influence on material transportation safety and tube filling; the water-rich high pressure is easy to generate large head pressure. It affects the TBM excavation and the structure of the segment; the inclined well passes through the strata including the Cretaceous and Jurassic, with strong water permeability and poor self-stability; the Jurassic partially crosses the coal-bearing strata, and there are harmful gases such as gas, which have high safety risks.

Equipment Overview: ZTT7635 single shield oblique well rock tunneling (TBM), excavation diameter of 7635mm, total length of about 165 meters, total weight of more than 1,560 tons, total installed power of 3800 kW, maximum tunneling speed of more than 120mm / min.


(1) Developed the world's first set of inclined well TBMs with independent intellectual property rights, proposed the overall selection and design criteria based on the geological adaptability of coal seams, and independently designed and manufactured the excavation system, shield and main. The drive system, the slag discharge system, the tube assembly system, the rear matching, the guiding system, etc., and the final assembly integration.

(2) Based on the monitoring data of multi-sensor network, the mining conditions are classified, the identification parameters of the driving conditions are determined, and the membership function and fuzzy inference rules of the fuzzy recognition of the driving mode are established.

(3) Through the structural optimization of material reversing equipment and the rational allocation of material conveying technology, to ensure the efficient circulation of people flow, material flow and information flow as the means and objectives, and put forward the design principle of inclined material multi-materials back-transport system, developed It is suitable for multi-species material efficient back-transporting system under long-distance and single-heading conditions.

Construction performance: Since the official excavation on June 11, 2015, the construction progress of the inclined shaft project has set a world record of 639m at the highest monthly footage and a good performance of more than 500m per month for four consecutive months. It is 4-5 times higher than the traditional coal mine inclined well construction method. At the same time, due to the TBM tunneling, the segment lining is realized synchronously, the quality of the well is high, and the design life can reach 70 years. The operation and maintenance cost in the later stage of the mine is reduced by more than 50% compared with the inclined well formed by the traditional method.
